Why Amethyst Quartz Carpet?

The external stone system has been designed to be UV stable, unlike some seamless stone systems that yellow over time with the sun’s rays. The stone is mixed with an Aliphatic Polyurethane Binder which is 100% UV stable.

Quartz Carpet is a resilient floor system that is hand
troweled and combines granules of colored quartz with resin. It can be
installed over most existing surfaces including walls and stairs and can
incorporate patterns, inlays and logos to produce creative environments for
residential and commercial spaces. Traditionally Amethyst crystals have been known
as detoxifiers and protectors against addictions, poisons, diseases and
gluttony. They are also sought for their calming and wellbeing properties
through negative ions and far-infrared rays emission.
Amethyst Quartz Carpet is easy to maintain
Our Quartz Carpet / Terradec floors from Alternative Surfaces are extremely durable, stain resistant and can be easily maintained. Simply clean the surface with a damp mop. Avoid the use of steam mops on Pore Filled finishes as this can soften the sealer. Always rinse the floor after mopping as a hard water residue can damage the surface. It is recommended that you remove any semi solids (for example citrus, urine, oils etc) as soon as they happen to prevent staining. Our internal system is bonded with Aliphatic Polyurethane which by its chemical generic composition is 100% UV stable, therefore it will not yellow through exposure to sunlight like other cheaper flooring systems on the market. It is also highly suitable in combination with floor heating as the resin will not be adversely affected by temperature.
